How we grow our berries
Our plantations are on different altitudes and regions which enables us to extend our calendar of production and provide our customers with the continuity.
Growing the finest berries in our climate requires continuous monitoring and discipline establishing the cold chain within the first 30 minutes of the harvest. Our berries are grown with great care, handpicked, forced cooled and then carefully packed to ensure long shelf life and impeccable taste.
It is important for us to understand how we can ensure that we are not farming to the detriment of nature.

Pureberry d.o.o. was founded in April 2013.family owned business, 100% held by the French company Pureberry Fruits Rouge SAS.

We produce and deliver only the highest quality fruits and vegetables, we are committed to maintaining the balance between investments in new technologies, rising production costs and climate change while delivering the healthy, tasty product with optimal shelf life and minimal impact on the environment. Our comprehensive approach to doing business allows us to build true long term partnerships with our customers.
Storage
Our facility in Mihajlovac was built with the aim of significantly increasing the production capacity of final commercial fruit and vegetable products
We have our own capacities for fruit packaging, with the most modern packaging lines and the possibility of packaging in containers of different dimensions and shapes, as well as storage at the appropriate temperature regime.
Our central cold room has rapid cooling technology, in order to enable fast and efficient cooling of our berries and perfect maintenance of the cold chain. By investing in innovation and cold chain infrastructure, we give the product a longer shelf life and ensure a complete commitment to sustainability, by minimizing post-harvest losses.
Our 3.800 m2 packhouse has 3 different automated packing lines:
– 2 fully equipped packing lines with sorting and top sealing technology for blueberries
– 1 fully equipped packing line for strawberries and raspberries + top sealing technology
Forced cooling technology to provide quick and efficient cooling of our berries and perfect maintenance of the cold chain.
Our investment in the cold chain infrastructures and traceability ensures the longer shelf life/our dedication to the quality and sustainability through the reduction of post-harvest loss.

ORIGIN OF OUR BERRIES
In the north-west Serbia is our largest complex of blueberry plantations bathed by the sun of the Pannonian plains, while in the south is our plantation complex of blueberries and raspberries surrounded by the Dinaric Alps rich forests landscapes.
In the very south of Serbia, in sunny Leskovac we grow strawberries.
Continuous innovation, training, learning, and improving in our production practices is our key to meeting clients’ expectations.
As an innovative company we are constantly working to maintain the quality of our products, taking daily steps to better serve our customers and our community.
Our team of agronomists and field technicians provide expertise on the best production practices, give regular updates on improved technologies ensuring the optimal conditions are in place to grow and harvest premium berries.
